Types of Shrink Film Heat Tools

Heat Columns:

Heat columns such as the Ripack Turbopack are perfect for medium to heavy duty applications where space may be an issue. The Turbopack can shrink long pallets with a height capacity of 94”. It is easy to move, and typically can shrink a standard pallet in about 1 minute.

 

When it comes to shrink wrapping a pallet, there are two important components to consider:

Shrink film and heat tool types. In this article, we will be discussing the latter. The two types we will cover are  heat guns and columns.

Heat Guns

It is the least expensive of the heat tools and does a great job shrinking large areas of shrink wrap. Heat guns are ideal for light to medium duty applications. Some of the features of a Ripack 3000 heat gun are:
